Senior Accountant - Business Advisory

We are looking for an awesome Senior Accountant to join our growing public practice team alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially minded rockstars. This permanent, full-time opportunity plays a key role in BlueRock's success and allows you to partner with some of Melbourne's coolest entrepreneurial business owners.

What you'll be doing:

You will be working with a diverse range of clients on everything from:

• Tax consulting including employee share schemes, restructuring and advice
• Strategic business planning
• Supporting our up and coming talent to develop and grow
• Financial modelling and forecasting
• Working alongside other teams within BlueRock to identify opportunities to collaborate on client engagements

From a compliance point of view, you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations, including:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparing and lodging BASs, IAS, FBT Returns

Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

• 3-5 years experience within a mid-tier Accounting firm
• Previous experience mentoring and coaching graduates and junior team members
• Degree qualification and are CA qualified (or near completion)
• Strong level of technical advisory proficiency; with tax and consulting/modelling engagements including budgeting, cash flow forecasting amp; valuations
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills
