We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Delivery Manager to join our SCADA Software team in Sydney.
As the Software Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of our proprietary software for the assigned projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical requirements review and analysis
- Write technical documentation related to the software (specifications, design, test plans, manuals).
- Analyse the software design to ensure the solution delivered is compliant with the project scope and requirements
- Interface with the client and collect their requirements and questions regarding the software scope
- Work with the local and off-shore software development teams to deliver the solution making sure the requirements are clearly understood, the development follows the design, and the solution is delivered as per the agreed timeframe
- Configuration of SIDERA as part of the software implementation process of the project.
- Participating in the testing and commissioning activities of the system before going into operation.
- Liaising with suppliers and identifying firmware issues that can affect hardware integration with SIDERA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in software design, development and implementation, preferably within the ITS industry and tunnel projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a successful track record of leading high-performing software engineering teams.
- SCADA domain knowledge and skills supervisory control and data acquisition, data processing
- Coding /Scripting, and automation skills
- Good understanding on troubleshooting software processes and methods
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Problem solving ability and analytical skills
- Demonstrated expertise in working within a cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
