The Role
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Product Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and launching new products that align with our core values and customer demands. Your work will play a crucial part in shaping our product offerings, marketing strategies, and success in the commercial building industry.
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular market and industry engagement to stay informed of market trends and customer needs.
- Lead the development of new products by assessing product requirements, creating development plans, and managing the entire product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to devise and execute effective product launch strategies and get the product into the market.
- Provide essential support to internal teams, including sales, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure product requirements are met.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position, preferably with an industrial product design background.
- Profound understanding of architectural/building products and projects, with a comprehensive grasp of the new product planning process.
- Ability to independently manage work programs and meet management requirements.
- Adept at working autonomously and effectively to achieve team goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience in the commercial building industry.
- Exceptional communication skills and time management abilities.
