As Senior People Operations Advisor you'll be responsible for driving engagement and providing HR guidance to our Fulfilment Centre located in Altona North. You’ll work in close collaboration with the Australian People and Culture team, and specifically alongside your counterparts from our Fulfilment Centres located in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. This role will play an instrumental part in the development and implementation of HR strategies, solutions, programs, and policies that foster growth and high-performance within our operations.

Your role:

This role covers a broad spectrum of HR responsibilities, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, talent management and retention, to off-boarding.

  • Provide HR information and business advice to address inquiries and offer guidance on processes and policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in resolving HR issues and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Enhance employee engagement through collaboration on surveys and programs.
  • Manage talent acquisition, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring top talent acquisition.
  • Identify training needs and assist in the development of training programs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs while ensuring compliance.
  • Stay updated on labour laws and implement HR policies that align with company values.
  • Utilise HR analytics to track and report on HR metrics for data-driven decisions.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives for an equitable work environment.

Requirements

This is you:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Data-driven problem-solver with a strong affinity for analytics.
  • Firm understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to build robust working relationships across all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Workspace.
