As the Head of Manufacturing Systems amp; Continuous Improvement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Aegros' manufacturing systems. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for enhancing manufacturing processes, implementing production systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. By utilizing your expertise in manufacturing systems and lean methodologies, you will contribute to the company's mission of revolutionizing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing system, ensuring its alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and standards to improve overall productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and digitalization, leveraging Industry 4.0 principles
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process, utilizing lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven strategies to optimize manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety
- Develop and manage the manufacturing systems budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in manufacturing systems management, preferably within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement tools
- Experience with implementing automation and digitalization strategies, utilizing Industry 4.0 technologies
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics platforms
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive change, manage teams, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence others toward common goals
