The Purpose:

The role will sit within the Business Operations and Delivery team providing guidance to the business analysis team. The team provides solution and analysis to AP+ initiatives, including BPAY, eftpos and NPP.

As the successful candidate for this role, you will bring 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role within financial services (or a related industry) where you have strong knowledge of business process modelling and improvement, requirements elicitation and documentation, and solution analysis and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and plan fit for purpose process modelling / process analysis.
  • Plan and facilitate process analysis activities / workshops as required.
  • Complete up-front analysis to provide an understanding of the problem / opportunity to be solved.
  • Evaluate financial, cultural, technological, organisational, and environmental factors, which must be addressed in the change programme.
  • Deliver mapping of the proposed To Be / future state processes to the required level of detail.
  • Work with Product Manager, project managers, Operations, developers and testers.
  • Deliver BA Artefacts as per the AP+ standards where allocated as a resource in a project.
  • Document requirements for the implementation of significant changes in business functions and processes, organisational roles and responsibilities, and scope or nature of service delivery,
  • Manage approval of business processes and all changes to these processes throughout the change lifecycle,
  • Understand and communicate to stakeholders the impacts of change across the operating model.
  • Ensure traceability from benefits to process changes and requirements,
  • Facilitate identification and analysis of proposed solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need, identify gaps and shortcomings in solutions and determine any necessary workarounds or changes to the solution by engaging with the right people.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor degree or similar.
  • 5 years working in financial/ payment industry.
  • 10 years working in Process improvement projects.
  • Experience working on and facilitating / co-ordinating the delivery of Process Governance and Operating models across a diverse organisation.
  • Experience working with regulated entities and an understanding of the compliance requirements, including process compliance and reporting.
  • Experience in developing large and complex operating models, functions and system implementations.
  • Competent in understanding process workflows and levels including their impact on BAU.
  • Experience in analysing processes, identifying gaps and providing solutions to address.
  • Ability to holistically look at processes across a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships with business managers and ICT service providers and negotiating outcomes in a complex environment
  • Good skills in documenting large process and requirements.
