Role purpose
As part of a regional team, this role will be embedded within a multinational tech client and will provide structured and unified incident command, management of large-scale events that may adversely impact people and business operations and returning the business to normal operations.
Role tasks and responsibilities
• Engage with regional stakeholder teams to assess gaps in their internal crisis response playbooks and processes.
• Plan, develop, and conduct annual training as directed by the Regional Crisis Manager.
• Identify opportunities for education and awareness of crisis management methodology across the region.
• Update Crisis Management Team rosters on a quarterly basis.
• Support Incident Management Team and Crisis Management Team activations as directed by the Regional Crisis Manager.
• Support and/or lead program projects, including working with third-party vendors, developing project charters, identifying and meeting project milestones, develop and track project metrics and key performance indicators (KPI).
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5+ years' experience implementing and/or managing crisis management, risk management, or corporate security programs.
• Good presentation and networking skills, with some project management experiences.
• Ability to travel across assigned region.
