Job Description

Azamara Cruise United States of American urgently needs the services of devoted and hardworking people who are ready to work after undergoing enlistment training in Australia.

The management intends to increase its manpower base due to the increasing number of customers in our Cruise Linear in Australia.

The total recruitments will be 170 applicants. Minimum Age requirements are 18-years and above.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Base Pay: $ 35,000 - $ 375,000 / Year

Type of work: Permanent / Temporary

Contract Period: 3 Months - 4 years

Visa-Type: 2 (two) years visa and working permit

Requirements: Proficient in English or Spanish

Job Description:
As an Engine Room Staff member at Azamara Luxury Cruises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our smaller ships while providing exceptional service to our esteemed guests. Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the operation and maintenance of the ship's engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
2. Monitor and control the ship's propulsion system, ensuring proper functioning and efficiency.
3. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose engine problems, and perform necessary repairs.
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Chief Engineer.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to safety procedures.
6. Participate in training programs and professional development to enhance technical skills.

Job Specification

1. Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
2. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
3. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
4. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
5. Physically fit and capable of performing work in confined spaces and high temperatures.
6. Basic knowledge of engine systems and familiarity with tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs.
