About the Role

  • Full Time Maximum Term Contract until 30 October 2024 (Parental Leave Cover)
  • Classification: Senior Management and Specialist Remuneration Level 1 with a salary range of $109,470 - $128,400 per annum pro rata + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Head Office Preston, VIC amp; ability to work remote

About your new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager People, Capability, Culture and Safety, you will join a team of HR Business Partners to apply a service partnering approach in providing guidance and advice for national operations. You will build collaborative partnerships with managers at a strategic level, respond to complex staffing issues, managing workplace investigations and provide tailored IR/ER advice while building local leadership capacity to achieve engaged, high functioning teams. Drawing on your expertise in leadership and contemporary HR thinking, you will have input into strategic workforce and organisational development initiatives and projects as well as HR policy development and implementation.

The position works in partnership with the broader PCamp;C team, including Work Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition and Remuneration, HRIS and Payroll, and manages a dedicated HR Advisor and HR Administrator.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Extensive experience in a HR Business Partner role or similar position
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of industrial instruments and current HR legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to think creatively, looking at complex situations through a solutions-focused lens
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust to deal with sensitive and difficult situations in a diplomatic manner
  • Ability to work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
  • Interest or experience in leading, coaching and mentoring others

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
