Job Description
As an Agile Project Manager in the Transformation team, you will play a critical role that supports the delivery of a program of complex business and digital transformation initiatives to ensure the overall business change is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives, through a fit-for-purpose Agile framework and governance as well as Waterfall framework.
You will work closely with Global Solutions Team, which comprises of Product Owners, Lead Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Developers, to ensure successful delivery of sprints to achieve our strategic objectives.
This role will majorly be remote however we require candidates be either Sydney or Melbourne-based for ad hoc meetings that may need to be attended in person at one of our offices. Please note also this is a global role and you must be willing to be flexible to attend global meetings (UK, USA, Brazil timezones), please consider this before applying for the role.
You Will
- Have experience in managing complex projects with significant business and digital transformation change elements and/or development functions
- Have a strong understanding of knowing how to apply Agile and/or Project Management best practices and ways of working to achieve successful outcomes
- Have strong leadership and facilitation skills to keep the team motivated
- Be a self-starter who enjoys working with minimal direction and is comfortable to work in an agile environment
- Adapt quickly to uncertainty and dynamic business priorities by effectively managing yourself through the ambiguity and change to deliver business value
- Pro-actively recognise possible problems and risks to identify and develop mitigation plans
- Possess excellent written and oral communication as well as interpersonal skills to develop deep working relationships
- Possess excellent stakeholder management skills to work collaboratively and co-operatively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
- Constructively challenge the status quo, look for better ways to do things and passionately advocate continuous improvement
- Passion in sharing your knowledge through coaching and mentoring
- Desire to exceed expectations by taking full ownership on the delivery of outcomes and drive them to successful completion
Requirements
- Lead teams across different time zones globally in pursuit of agreed outcomes whilst applying hybrid methods of management, determining the suitable one based on the project needs
- Run projects both in Waterfall and/or Scrum, increasing results, quicken goals achievement, lower expenses, and bring more project benefits.
- Help teams to agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint and remove obstacles in a timely fashion to ensure delivery timelines are met
- Manage progress with team members to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and achieving the agreed outcomes that contribute to the overall Logicalis transformation strategic goals
- Report regularly on status and progress to key stakeholders
- Manage and facilitate cross-functional team ceremonies/project meetings, including increment planning sessions, to establish scope and build plans
