What you’ll do

  • Work in a Cross-Functional Team: Work along side product management and software engineers to ensure the successful delivery of stable enterprise software products.
  • Develop Testing Strategies: Craft and execute test cases and plans that are precision-engineered to meet our unyielding quality standards and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Document Quality Metrics: Prepare and maintain software defect and regression tracking in JIRA and communicate sprint release status to stakeholders.
  • Test Automation: Play an integral role in test automation efforts, including script creation, maintenance, and code reviews. Using testing tools like Unittest, PyTest, and Jenkins.
  • Regression Testing: Monitor and address any failures in the regression test suite promptly. Verify that delivered features meet the acceptance criteria defined by the squad.
  • Release Testing: Team up with fellow QA engineers, lending a helping hand, during the intense verification of release cuts and assist in deployment processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in QA processes, tools, and frameworks and actively contribute to their implementation.
  • Agile Practices: Actively participate in scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other relevant meetings as the champion of acceptance criteria.

What you’ll need

  • QA and Automation Expertise: We're seeking individuals with extensive experience in quality assurance and test automation, ideally holding ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certifications.
  • Test Automation Skills: Strong expertise in writing and maintaining automated tests using Python (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Unittest).
  • Requirement Handling: Ability to effectively work with written requirements, extract requirements from engineers and product teams, and explore software for test case generation.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile Testing methodologies is important, as we operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Test Case Management: Familiarity with test management methods and software
