About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our Finance Team.

In this role, you will need to be hands-on and possess a proactive attitude as we expand our global presence and navigate heightened global payroll regulatory complexities. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of global payroll operations, compliance, and process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving efficiency in payroll processes.

We are looking for someone who will be able to redefine the payroll function. Your enthusiasm for evolving payroll capabilities across people, processes, and systems is key.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the payroll operations, ensuring precision, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate international payrolls through outsourced Third Parties.
  • Administer all employee benefits, add ons, and termination payments including but not limited to Superannuation, 401K, pension, health benefits, ESOP, and so on.
  • Be the go-to person for all queries relating to payroll.
  • Manage all variable payments including bonuses, allowances, pay increments, incentives, commissions and so on.
  • Oversee the maintenance and configuration and integration of all systems that impact payroll and any HR modules (eg expense management).
  • Cultivate strong relationships with payroll service providers across multi-country and time zones.
  • Identify and mitigate potential payroll-related risks, implementing controls to prevent errors, fraud, or compliance breaches.
  • Provide payroll reports, metrics, and insights to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Adhere to adhoc administrative tasks as required to support Business Units in the Company including but not limited to Finance and Pamp;C.
  • Maintain standardize global payroll policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support global expansion efforts, offering payroll expertise and coordinating payroll setup in new regions.
  • Safeguard payroll data confidentiality and security, adhering to data privacy regulations and protecting sensitive employee information.

About You
  • A seasoned payroll professional with proven ability to manage payroll functions across multiple countries, including a deep understanding of international payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, including the capability to assess, implement, or upgrade technology as needed. (experience in Xero, BoB and NetSuite is a Bonus).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and senior management.
  • Tech savvy - proficient using G-Suite tools amp; Slack
  • Experience advising on remuneration and benefits and the ability to provide guidance on salary sacrificing, employee benefits, salary benchmarking, and relevant market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
