Our company is embarking on exciting growth and we have a fantastic opportunity for a technical support analyst to join our team in Sydney.
This position will provide IT helpdesk amp; technical support, remotely and onsite, as well as local servers administration and maintenance, looking into technical issues (solve or escalate them as required).
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Replacing parts as required.
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports when required.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of experience in level 2-3 IT helpdesk or similar role.
- Experience with Windows 10 (installation and troubleshooting)
- Experience with VM server hosting (Windows server 2012/2016/2019; Rehat Enterprise Linux; Centos server)
- Mac desktop knowledge
- strong programming fundamentals (regardless of language).
- In depth understanding of software and equipment in use.
- Excellent communication skills with a high focus on customer satisfaction.
- Formal qualifications in IT would be highly regarded but not essential.
