We’re excited by the fact our team is continuing to expand. And, as we continue to grow, we’re on the hunt for an Education Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne team.
Requirements
What you’ll be doing:
- Identify and engage potential education clients, including schools, universities, and educational organisations.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the IT education sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the education industry.
- Collaborate with our product and technical teams to tailor IT solutions to meet the specific needs of educational clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments in the education sector.
- Present and demonstrate our IT solutions to potential clients, showcasing their value and impact on education.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and ongoing partnerships.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in business development or sales, with a focus on IT solutions is ideal.
- Strong understanding of the education sector and its technology needs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Self-motivated with a passion for education and technology.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Please note that all team members must have a valid state-based Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and be authorised to work in Australia.
