The Clinical Scientist role is part of the Clinical team where the focus is on delivering world-class patient experiences through the most innovative and patient-centric medical equipment and software on the market all designed in-house.

We boast Australia’s largest team of neurophysiologists led by world-renowned neurologist Prof Mark Cook.


In this role, you will:

  • Independently review and annotate prolonged ambulatory video EEG recordings.
  • Relay findings to Seer’s team of reporting doctors.
  • Report critical findings to the relevant body as per Seer’s protocols.
  • Help to create documentation for training purposes.
  • Securely transfer and manage patient data.
  • Maintain data integrity via remote log in / contacting patients via telephone.
  • Keep workflow documents up to date with relevant information pertaining to your work and the
  • connection/ disconnection of patients.
  • On rare occasions travel to satellite offices to connect/ disconnect patients.
  • Complete a Seer scientific report outlining your findings.
  • Complete allocated studies within a specified timeframe.
  • Measure patients using the EEG international 10-20 system.
  • Connect and disconnect ambulatory video EEG-ECG patients.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance.

Your experience:

  • At least two years experience in clinical neurophysiology is required.
  • Experience reviewing EEG data and identifying abnormal/epileptiform activity is essential.
  • Experience reviewing long-term EEG data in adults is essential, and paediatric experience
  • preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Self-directed and takes initiative.
  • Full drivers licence is preferred but not essential.
