As an IT Systems Engineer with expertise in PowerShell scripting, you will play a vital role in automating manual tasks and supporting their enterprise infrastructures. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of IT domains, including computing, networking, storage, and operating systems. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your IT skills while working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Proficient scripting skills in PowerShell for automating manual tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in electronic/computer systems engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in an IT Systems Engineer role.
- Current Windows or relevant experience at MCSE level for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- At least 2 years of experience with database administration for MSSQL server.
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), including native monitoring and troubleshooting tools, backups, restores, and recovery models.
- Microsoft patching, including CVE investigation.
- MS Exchange administration, including PowerShell scripting.
- Networking skills, encompassing firewall, router, and switch management.
- VMware ESX/ESXi Servers version 7.0.
- Proficiency in MS AD 2016/2019, MS Exchange 2016, and above.
- Familiarity with the hardening process of an operating system.
- Server hardware management.
- Experience in SAN-based environments.
- Management of backups and server patching.
- Competence in release management, test plans, testing, user acceptance testing, and change management.
- Ability to create technical documentation and review it.
