As part of Cobra Group, SICE ANZ is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Cobra Asia Pacific team in their expansion journey across Australia.
As our Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing Cobra's financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare month-end financial reporting and Management Report/ Conduct month-end reconciliations in accounting system (Navision).
- Conduct Revenue, Cost, and Margin Analysis to provide insights for strategic business decisions.
- Manage the Fixed Asset register, recording asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
- Preparation of CAPEX and divestment proposals, supporting effective capital allocation.
- Maintain cost structures and implement cost control measures to optimise financial performance.
- Prepare forecasts and perform monthly comparisons with actual financial results to identify variances and trends.
- Provide oversight for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Ensure tax compliance and manage cash flow.
- Handle intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including clients, suppliers, fleet companies, and banks to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication. • Daily update of cash book and record in Navision.
- Treasury duties.
- Prepare audit documents as per auditor and lawyer’s requests.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in Navision or similar accounting software.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is essential.
