Beginner (A1) Japanese Content Writing: Remote Contract Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Japanese teacher/consultant to help us write non-immersion visual text resources that are suitable for students working at a beginner level and are aligned to the Australian Curriculum.

This project involves adapting our beginner (A1) content, which is a combination of 10 topic-based lessons.

Requirements

This opportunity might suit you if:

• You have 5+ years of experience teaching beginner Japanese language in Australia;
• You are confident with the use of Google Suite;
• You can commit to a workload of 10 - 15 hours per week during September and October, 2023;
  

Skills and attributes required

• Bi-lingual in Japanese and English with experience teaching/tutoring the language experience.
• Experience with writing and creating authentic Japanese learning resources.
• Tertiary qualification in Languages or a related area.
• Confidence working with Languages at a secondary level.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with editors

Benefits

We are offering AUD$200 per lesson to complete translations of our content, and writing Visual Text copy along with accompanying questions.
