YOUR IMPACT:

The People and Culture Business Partner plays a vital role in fostering a positive and engaging work environment. This generalist role involves collaborating with the whole business to support employee development, managing Human Resources (HR) processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Your ultimate goal will be ensuring seamless, end-to-end facilitation of People and Culture projects and operations. By helping shape the company's culture and reinforcing employee well-being, you will contribute to overall organisational success.

You will be an integral member of the People amp; Culture Team, reporting to the Head of People amp; Culture. Working across the whole business, you will partner with people leaders to evolve high-performing teams, providing the tools and resources to enable an impactful employee experience.

THE ROLE:

  • A permanent part-time role (0.8 FTE). The specific days or hours are negotiable.
  • Support the whole business by facilitating a seamless and engaging employee experience and executing HR workflows.
  • Ensure HR-related policies and procedures comply with employment legislation, including reviewing relevant documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all employee records utilising our HR Information System.
  • Gather and analyse HR insights and metrics to inform talent decisions.
  • Support people leaders with robust HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding and performance management, by providing relevant templates and frameworks.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on people-related matters, including leave, compensation and any relevant issues that may arise.
  • Provide training on HR systems and frameworks, including interview skills, HRIS, performance frameworks, hiring processes, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the business, partnering with leaders and supporting employees to enable a high-performing culture.
  • Communicate, promote and drive People and Culture programs and initiatives to ensure a productive and engaged work environment.

Requirements

ABOUT YOU:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist, operating with high integrity, including safeguarding information.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, majoring in Human Resource Management or relevant field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Australian employment legislation.
  • Experience using HR systems and workspace tools, e.g., Google Workspace, HRIS, and ATS.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
