The role

Are you a sales-focused Account Manager?
We are looking for highly driven, self-motivated and competitive people who love selling to existing clients and are looking to break into the SaaS (Software Sales) world. |
You will manage and grow a set of pre-allocated customers and assist these clients to create and implement their digital marketing strategies. Your advice will be based on analytical data that you will surface through your own research and by the use of internal reporting tools.
You will also be responsible for researching current clients and looking for strategic opportunities to grow the size of your managed customer base while also bringing in new accounts. The objectives are to both increase the average customer spend and the total volumes of businesses you manage.
You will be liaising with a mixture of internal parties (sales, marketing and customer service) and also looking to connect with third-party vendors or referral-based parties


Responsibilities

The role has been carefully thought out to ensure diversity, ongoing training, and a clear progression path with the role split into three areas:

  • Account Management: Meeting with clients post their onboarding to ensure you understand their business and that they are set up for success using our software.
  • Upselling: Looking for strategic opportunities to up-sell amp; cross-sell whilst also generating referrals.
  • Renewals: Meeting with customers to discuss renewals, ensuring they clearly understand the ROI being created and dealing with any cancellation requests during this stage of their contract.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience (B2B or B2C).
  • Proven track record achieving sales KPI’s.
  • 12 months + sales experience.
  • A consultative approach to sales and customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A friendly phone manner.
  • Previous experience with SalesForce or Google Suite is highly regarded
  • The ability to work autonomously with excellent time management.
