Job Description

Are you looking for a position where client interaction is high and opportunities for learning are uncapped? Place Sunnybank’s Selling Director, Owen Chen, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Associate to join his team. This unique opportunity gives you the chance to work exclusively with one of Queensland’s top residential sales agents. Just this year alone Owen was placed as #27 in the 2023 Real Estate Business’ Top 50 Agents in Queensland!

You will work beside Owen and his hardworking team delivering strong communication, superior customer service and assisting the team with matching buyers to their perfect home.

Commencing as a Sales Associate, you will be partnered with Owen to learn fundamental skills and support his transactions from listed to settled. The successful candidate will be provided with the best possible training in Real Estate for personal and professional growth within a wonderful office.

This opportunity requires the candidate to work every Saturday. It is ideal that this candidate has a Real Estate Sales certificate or has finished their course and are ready to submit with the Office of Fair Trading.

The role will involve the following tasks:

  • Prospecting cold calls, warm calls, client nurturing (daily);
  • Prospecting door knocking (daily);
  • Letter box dropping;
  • Database management as required;
  • Conducting open homes and other inspections;
  • Following compliance procedures;
  • Communicating confidently in English and in Chinese;
  • Coordinating client bookings and meetings;
  • Teamwork and understand team goals;
  • Consistently demonstrate a learning and growth mindset;
  • Attending valuations, inspections, buyer appointment; and
  • Demonstrating initiative and looking for a career to develop in, not only a job.

Requirements

Due to the importance of this role, you will need:

  • High level of self-discipline, self motivation
  • Positive mindset, target driven, well-organised nature
  • High energy, vivid character, willingness to learn.
  • Current QLD Driver’s License and suitable vehicle.
  • Real Estate Sales Certificate or close to obtaining one;
  • Experience in a customer facing industry (preferably sales, hospitality);
  • Strong communication skills;
  • High attention to detail; and
  • Mandarin speaking preferred.


Experience within the industry would be highly advantageous however not necessary as this opportunity can be taken as a chance for the right candidate to learn and grow!
