Learning and Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Learning and Development Specialist to join our People, Culture and Learning team. This role will be responsible for shaping and driving the Lamp;D plan at Eco Outdoor.

We're currently in a crucial phase of growth, and this role will play a vital part in helping our team enhance their skills and start strong. As a business that revolves around our products, this position is essential to ensure that our employees are well-informed about all that we offer. This role reports to the Head of People, Culture and Learning.

Key Responsibilities

Support the business strategic priorities to enhance the knowledge, skills and capabilities of our workforce in line with our vision and goals

Design and deploy learning journeys and related curricula to ensure our people are across our ever evolving products

Effectively partner with internal and external subject matter experts

Design and administer the learning calendar including group onboarding

Lead implementation of a new LMS

Ownership of the LMS, ensuring content is up to date with accurate training records

Facilitate training sessions and workshops as required

Ensure we are meeting WHS training requirements

Manage reporting on success of learning and development programs

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in executing the company wide Lamp;D plan

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant work experience

Experience implementing and owning a LMS

Curious mindset with a strong desire to develop capabilities across all aspects of Learning and Development

Sound project management skills with the ability to drive the Lamp;D plan end to end

Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to confidently engage with internal experts at all levels

Experience in facilitation a bonus
