Job Description

At Displayr, our mission is to make it easier for everyone to find and share the stories in their data. We do this by creating software that makes it easy to do all aspects of data analysis and reporting, from simple tables to machine learning, PowerPoint automation to online dashboards.

Our Talent Team is at the heart of this mission, and we need YOU.

We're a bootstrapped and profitable company - no debt, no external investors. In the last five years, we've grown from 11 to over 92 people, and we have 1,400+ great clients, from small businesses through to Amazon, Facebook, and Google.

We have recently won 1st place in the Great Places to Work, Best Tech Companies List 2023 ANZ for small employers and we are proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work for the second year in a row.

Displayr is pleased to partner with Work180, an organization dedicated to improving the workplace for Diversity and Inclusion, particularly working conditions for women.

Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Talent, you will be an integral part of the Talent Team. Working from our office in Pyrmont, Sydney or remotely from anywhere on the East Coast of Australia, you will assist the team on creating a best-in-class candidate experience through daily professional and seamless interactions with candidates.

Remotely, this is a part-time role, and the hours would be over Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm (or similar).

There is a potential for full-time hours IF the person is based in Sydney and can come into the office two days a week. With this arrangement, you would also assist with office management tasks such as ordering supplies amp; hardware, desk allocations, office maintenance, social gatherings etc.

We use Workable as our Talent CRM as well as Outlook to manage the candidate application experience. Internally, we use Slack as well as Jira, and some of your tasks will include:

  • Scheduling interviews via phone, zoom, face to face across various time zones.
  • Efficient handling of candidate communication.
  • Onboarding/offboarding.
  • Arranging gifts to celebrate employee anniversaries and special occasions.
  • Managing people-related social media posts - eg. Celebrating events, awards, new starters, new roles.
  • Arranging unique social events and monthly staff lunches in the Sydney office (in collaboration with the social committee).
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve work efficiency.

About You

  • Previous experience working in a recruitment environment.
  • Proficient in Outlook and Workable (or a similar recruitment platform)
  • Able to prioritize your work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative can do attitude.
  • Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • You are a people person. You enjoy making people happy and feeling welcome/part of a team.
  • You are innovative and always looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage the administration of multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, depending on the task you are working on. You need to be a self-starter and look for solutions to the problems yourself, but you also need to know when to ask for help.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to a changing work environment. Working in a start-up, no 2 days are the same.

Why Displayr?

  • Displayr is entirely bootstrapped and continues to grow safely.
  • Displayr has a high-trust environment, where you’ll be given a serious degree of autonomy and flexibility.
  • We prefer evidence over intuition, experience, and "best practice".
  • International company - offices in Sydney, Chicago, and London.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Share options in the business (join a fast-growing company in its early stages).
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Relaxed workplace and culture.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Training allowance to help you grow your skills.
  • Head office by the water in Pyrmont, Sydney, with access to pool and tennis court.

We believe that a workplace that welcomes a variety of perspectives, experiences and backgrounds is important and will only push us to be better. We never discriminate on the basis of gender, age, ethnic background, disability status, religion, or sexual orientation.
