About the Role

  • Part Time (0.6 FTE) Permanent Position
  • Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 3 with a salary range of $82,123 - $88,367 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

The responsibilities of the YORS Intake Coordinator involve processing the referrals, gathering further information, contacting the young person, developing the beginnings of a risk assessment and management plan with them, completing a comprehensive assessment and starting to work with the young person to identify their goals. When the YORS team are at capacity, the Intake Coordinator will provide Bridging Support to young people. This includes contacting them weekly and providing either face to face or phone support until such time as they can be allocated to a key worker. Allocating to a key worker will be done in collaboration with the Service Manager of the site.

The YORS Intake Coordinator will be part of the broader YRR team which provides regular opportunities for reflection upon practice issues and development. Another aspect of the role is to provide administrative support to teams.
