We are looking for a System amp; Security Administrator to manage the day to day maintenance of our IT and security infrastructure (laptops, network and SaaS applications) while also providing technical support to the team. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and maintain a working knowledge of security best practices. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently and securely.
- Provision and configure both Windows and MacOS systems to specifications and ensure that systems are continuously patched/upgraded.
- Manage all aspects of the directory including the configuration of policies and access rules
- Implement and manage access to applications through the use of SSO connected to the directory
- Manage SaaS applications.
- Manage endpoint security and remediate any identified vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security control testing.
- Manage the office network including configuration and monitoring of the network security appliance and WIFI network.
- Procurement and management of IT inventory.
- Assist in the efficient onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Assist in training peers on security best practices and system usage.
- Troubleshoot IT issues and outages.
- Maintain documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a System Administrator or similar role in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing endpoint security (e.g. CrowdStrike) is highly desirable
- Experience managing a corporate network including security
- Understanding of security best practices and ability to apply them
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Tertiary education in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
