About the Role

  • Part Time (0.8 FTE) Maximum Term Contract Until 31 May 2024
  • Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 4 with a salary range of $93,959 - $98,207 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

The Peer Support Leads are exciting roles responsible for leading Peer Support Workers delivering and developing a new eight-week employment focused wellbeing program

You will lead the Peer Support workers to deliver the THRIVE program which seeks to increase understanding of managing mental health in the workplace and provide opportunity for positive and hopeful conversations with lived experience job seekers. When participants enrol, they will attend scheduled group sessions and have access to online learning modules that can be completed individually or as a whole at the participants own pace (including after the eight weeks

What you will bring to the role?

  • Lived experience of mental illness, mental health crisis or caring for someone living with a mental illness and demonstrated experience of recovery, and understanding of its impacts on employment
  • Proven experience at managing staff and/or providing supervision within the area of community service delivery
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people

  • National Criminal History Check (Police check) disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Australian Working Rights
