The Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the technical BA team in supporting the delivery of product features across the AP+ agile engineering teams. As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that product requirements are well documented for development by the cross functional development teams, acting as the conduit between the product management and development teams, and contributing to the consistency and quality of the AP+ technical business analyst practice.

As the Senior Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Consult with product owners and product managers to identify solution options to new business requirements.
  • Consult with product owners and product managers to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions.
  • Analyse business workflows to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvements.
  • Produce appropriate functional and non-functional specs (such as in the form of user stories for different personas, wireframes, epics) for product changes and enhancements.
  • Produce technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms (e.g API specs in the form of swagger/OpenAPI specs, users stories with acceptance criteria) to development teams.
  • Prepare training material and assistance to end customers.
  • Undertake/support user acceptance testing and walk in the shoes of the end customer.
  • Develop and improve technical business analysis practices and standards to ensure consistency of quality and productivity.
  • Develop technical BA adaptive tools, processes, templates, etc.
  • Mentor other technical business analysts.

The skills amp; knowledge you need to have:

  • Experience in completing business amp; technical requirement documents (functional amp; non-functional)
  • Experience in documenting user requirements using agile techniques such as user stories and acceptance criteria for different personas.
  • Experience designing amp; enhancing the user interface of online applications.
  • Experience in working as part of cross-functional agile engineering teams and supporting user acceptance testing and training, working in large corporate environments with multiple business units.
  • Experience working on bank grade or enterprise grade products with stringent quality, resilience, operational and security characteristics.
  • Experience working in payments services (highly preferred)
  • Experience in mentoring team members.
