ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for an experienced Café Supervisor to join the team on a fixed term full time basis, for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension where required.
Our Café Supervisor is an integral part of our team working in the Cruise Café amp; Bar within our Port of Airlie Terminal, Airlie Beach. Reporting to the Food amp; Beverage Manager, this role will see you responsible for overseeing the day-day Café operations to provide high-quality, welcoming and responsive customer service. Creating and delivering the highest standard for food, coffee and hospitality service for our guests ensuring each and every guest has an experience of a lifetime.
What will you be doing on a daily basis?
- Leading by example, delivering exceptional guest experiences and consistent service;
- Ensuring high team performance and professional presentation;
- Managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving activities, stock rotation, storage and stock take completion to ensure continuous availability of menu items and to limit food wastage;
- Preparing, presenting, and cooking food, including maintaining food displays to a high standard;
- Adherence of operational procedures and WHS requirements;
- Overseeing the stock control of consumables on board and daily reconciliations;
- Management of café inventory to ensure availability and to avoid loss or theft;
- Performance management of Hospitality Attendants including probation reviews;
- Regularly review our online communication platform, staying up to date with policies and procedures.

Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Hospitality or equivalent experience in a fast paced customer service environment;
- QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol;
- SITSS00016 - Food Safety Supervisor;
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid amp; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation;
- Evidence of ongoing personal amp; professional development highly regarded.
