Neami National is a community mental health service supporting people living with mental illness to improve their health, live independently and pursue a life based on their own strengths, values and goals.
We have been providing mental health support for over 30 years. We were founded on an alliance between professionals, individuals and their families. Collaborative recovery remains at the heart of who we are today.
About your new role
The THRIVE Peer Support Worker is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery and development of a new eight-week employment focused wellbeing program. The THRIVE Peer Support Worker will be an integral member of the THRIVE team and draw on your lived and/or living experience of recovery to help connect with others through the delivery of the THRIVE program. For this role you must have your own Lived or Living Experience (LLE) of distress or mental ill-health and be willing to purposefully use your own story to help others further their own understanding of their recovery journey in an employment context.
