  • Classification: Nurses Award 2020 Level 3 $116,880 - $123,243 or Health Professional amp; Support Services Award 2020 Level 3 $106,427 - $121,030 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

The Mental Health Clinical Leads are exciting roles responsible for leading clinicians to deliver high quality services to guests experiencing various mental health challenges presenting to The Mental Health amp; Wellbeing Local Service.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health credentialled Allied Health worker, the Clinical Lead will draw on their discipline skills to oversee Clinicians in their engagement with the guest , the guest’s treatment team, Neami and partner associate staff and family/friends/carers to provide high quality assessments and interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes for all guests accessing the Mental Health amp; Wellbeing Local Service. The Clinical Lead will have oversight of the IAR, clinical assessments, collaborative care plan formulation and execution in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

What you will bring to the role?

  • The Clinical Lead is required to be a Registered Psychologist, Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or a Social Worker with Australian Association of Social Work Registration.
  • A valid and current Australian Driver License and access to personal vehicle
  • All staff are required to adhere to the Neami Mental Health amp; Wellbeing Service immunisation policy directives to minimise the risk of vaccine preventable diseases in order to protect workers, other employees, consumers and visitors.

  • National Criminal History Check (Police check) disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
  • Current AHPRA or AASW registration
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
