About the Role
Program Connect to Wellbeing
Connect to Wellbeing (C2W) is a Mental Health Intake, Assessment and Triage (North Queensland) service and has offices in Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay.
Connect to Wellbeing receives referrals from a range of sources including GPās, area mental health services and individuals. The role of C2W is to screen referrals to determine eligibility, assess individual needs and refer individuals to the relevant service provider or community service in the area.
C2W has been funded by the North Queensland PHN and is an integral part of the Stepped Care suite of services.
About role
The Operational Support Officer will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services provided to consumers by ensuring that staff and service users of the Connect to Wellbeing service receive administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs.
The position will ensure the effective delivery of administrative tasks, including the management of appointment systems, billing and medical records, database management, operational meetings, and Microsoft Office applications.
