As a Business Development Associate at Scanning Pens, you'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while also maintaining existing relationships. You'll get to work with a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of people with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sales leads, partnerships, and collaborations.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the consumer electronics industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies and support sales efforts.
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
• Continuously seek ways to improve the company’s performance and growth in the market.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in Sales or Business Development roles
• Previous experience in Education or Special Education is preferred but not necessary
• Strong phone presence and experience dialling a high volume of calls per day
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Able to travel and attend events, conferences and shows as and when necessary
• Must be an Australian resident with permission to work in Australia
