About The Role
The Associate Developer works closely with the IT Support Manager in all aspects to design, build, deploy and maintain the IT infrastructure for both The Missing Link and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business processes and gather requirements.
- Understand, build new code snippets and enhance existing scripts with latest security and requirements.
- Troubleshoot existing scripts, apps and solutions.
- Familiar with RESTful API services and GIT version control.
- Identify and learn new technologies and tools suitable for our business needs and the needs of our clients.
- Document and maintain knowledge management library.
- Build strong working relationships with various levels of stakeholders.
- Operate autonomously and deliver results on time and within budget.
Requirements
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Network Engineer or related role.
Essential Skills:
- Python 3.7+
- Basic IT Infrastructure knowledge
- Basic knowledge of BI tools
- SQL (PostgreSWL, MSSQL and SQLite)
- Web development (Django 3.0+)
- Linux command line
- Keen eye for creating apps and workflows to automation process
Desirable Skills:
- HTML/CSS/JS
- Microsoft Azure Platform
- Powershell scripting / bash scripting
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Microsoft Powerplatform
Education / Training Requirements:
- HSC or equivalent
- IT Diploma or equivalent
Education / Training - Non-Essential:
- Microsoft Certification
- CISCO Certification
- Linux Training / Certification
- Apple Training / Certification
- IBM Tivoli Certification .
