About the Role
The Solution Architect role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of Corporate IT project, internal IT solutions , and will provide expertise, knowledge and guidance on company wide Corporate solutions solutions
The Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership and domain expertise for wide range of technology domains. This role will ensure systems, offerings, and processes are fit-for-purpose and designed to meet our customer requirements.
This role can also be performed from any of Datacom's main centers in Australia and New Zealand.
What you’ll do
As Solution Architect you will:
- Providing advanced technical support, solution design and implementation.
- Build solutions design in line with Datacom Security Standards and principals
- Ensuring and being accountable for the technical integrity of the design, in accordance with the business' requirements.
- Developing and assisting in the development of rapid prototyping demonstrations.
- Identifying, evaluating and recommending options, making solution decisions and guiding stakeholders to own and accept the implications.
- Understanding business requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
- Ensuring that overall solution/strategy is agreed and endorsed by all stakeholders and identifies and evaluates possible solution options.
- Managing day-to-day technical program or segment activities.
- Developing and delivering internal technical presentations.
- Ensuring new or supported systems are designed to meet and integrate with organisation requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Designing, developing and documenting complex infrastructure architectures for the specific domain that meet the evolving IT requirements of internal IT
- Contributing to the Major Incident amp; Business Continuity plan for Technology Operations.
- Providing architectural assurance for proposed changes to customers’ environment.
- Mentoring and guiding technical staff.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience with M365 security and configuration, M365 applications, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Viva, SharePoint, etc
- Proven experience with M365 governance and data protection services including Information Protection and DLP.
- Proven experience with Azure AD including on premises Active Directory, Intune and Endpoint security and management.
- Knowledge of Security Standards and Frameworks, such as Zero Trust, ISO27k, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment
