Due to our rapid expansion plans at Aegros, the IT Team is experiencing double digit growth!
As part of our growth strategy, we now require a Cyber Security Specialist to join the IT team at Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, the Cyber Security Specialist will be a natural leader and define and influence the future at Aegros.
Your clear focus will be on defining and implementing the governance, technical standards, monitoring, and education required to ensure that Aegros matures and maintains its cyber security posture in-line with the agreed targets.
Requirements
What you will be doing
- Developing and implemening Cyber Security strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information systems and data.
- Leading and managing internal IT, IT MSP partner, management and staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities in the Cyber domain.
- Conducti regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and develop mitigation plans.
- Managing incident response procedures and lead investigations into cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Defining and delivering security awareness training and educational programs to promote a culture of cybersecurity among employees.
- Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to design and implement security measures and controls, including network security, access controls, and endpoint protection.
- Leading the achievement of Essential Eight strategies and ISO27001:2022 maturity levels and certifications
You will bring...
- Bachelor of Computing Science or relevant degree
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar qualification
- 2 years Cyber Security leadership role, preferably with exposure to GMP industry experience.
- Proven experience in:
- development of future state cyber models and architectures including a roadmaps that will move from the current state to the future state.
- Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC)?Essential Eight strategies implementations
- ISO27001:2022 framework and certifications
- Microsoft environment (Azure AD, M365)
- Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills to build consensus for improvement plans and support their delivery.
- Ability to work both independently but also within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment.
