The Missing Link SOC has been delivering managed services for over 5 years, moving to a fully onshore 24 x 7 operating model in October 2019. The SOC Team comprises of 3 teams, two technical (Security Analysts amp; SOC Engineers) and our Service Delivery Team. Currently 33 strong, our team is set to continue growing as we expand out our APAC and EMEA based teams into FY2024.
GSOC Briefing Course Overview
The Missing Link GSOC provides 24x7 Managed Detection amp; Response (MDR) and Managed Network Security Services support to our clients across a variety of sectors, namely Tier-1 FSI, Flagships Airlines, Global Retail, Healthcare and Not-For-Profit.
We believe in investing in and developing our people through a variety of training and education programs. Our GSOC Briefing Day is aimed at providing individuals who are passionate about technology and who are seeking to pursue a career in Cyber Security an opportunity to spend the day learning, socialising and testing their skills with some of The Missing Link’s GSOC Team Leaders amp; Analysts. The Briefing Course will comprise of the following:
- A Day in the Life of a GSOC Analyst/Engineer by our Head of Security Operations
- Cyber Security Market and Resume Guidance by Talenza
- Lunch!
- A Selection of Individual and Team Exercises by GSOC Team Leaders
- Capture the Flag Event Hosted by Exabeam
The events will take place on the following dates/times:
- Sydney Briefing Course [9AM 5PM] Friday 4th August 2023
- Melbourne Briefing Course [9AM 5PM] Friday 11th August 2023
There are no training/certification/education pre-requisites, just a passion for Cyber Security and to submit an Expression of Interest in the Application Portal. Once you have applied a member of our HR or GSOC Team will be on contact with you to provide the Admin Instructions for your selected event.
This is an in-person event with no option to attend remotely. All attendees must be able to travel to Sydney and Melbourne CBD for the selected attendance date.
Requirements

- Knowledge and understanding of the MITRE ATTamp;CK Framework
