Job Description

Due to exceptionally quick growth, we are now looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team and own the internal end to end financial aspects of our business. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, with commercial acumen, and a desire to contribute to the future growth and profitability of our growing business.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monthly and fortnightly payroll for all staff, including all statutory filings.
  • Month end close, including preparation of profit and loss reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Managing BAS, FBT, and company tax returns.
  • Preparation of monthly reporting pack, including cost analysis v budget.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Requirements

  • CPA/CA qualified or part qualified.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commercial mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate at senior leadership level when presenting financial reports.
