Due to our quickly expanding client base, we're looking for Senior Accountants to join our expanding team. If you come from public practice, but are looking for a change that offers flexibility, travel and the ability to manage your own portfolio of clients, then this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Smooth onboarding of newly signed clients, typically working from their business to facilitate the onboarding process
- Mentoring med-level amp; junior staff through reviewing work, providing clear, concise and supportive feedback within a culture-focused environment
- Preparation amp; review of monthly management reports, tax returns and other statutory lodgments
- Explaining the key insights from financial information and management reporting to small business owners, in a clear and simple manner
- Utilising Xero to build dashboards that deliver accurate and timely financial insights?
- Prioritising and handling multiple tasks and jobs effectively, while still maintaining high-quality work
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, providing value in every interaction
- Remaining current on industry trends, changes in regulations and best practices, and effectively communicating this information to clients in a clear and simple manner
Requirements
- Degree qualification with 4+ years’ experience in public practice
- CPA or CA qualified
- This role requires regular travel to our clients businesses. A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle on weekdays is essential.
- Experience working with small business clients
- Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of junior staff
