Job Description
MyDeal.com.au is a leading online retailer and marketplace that focuses on supplying everything for your home. As an online marketplace, we connect our customers with millions of products sold by many leading Australian retailers.
We are looking for a System Administrator to manage the day to day maintenance of our IT infrastructure (laptops, network and SaaS applications) while also providing technical support to the team. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently and securely
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure both Windows and MacOS systems to specifications and ensure that systems are continuously patched/upgraded.
- Manage all aspects of the directory including configuration of policies and access rules
- Implement and manage access to applications through the use of SSO connected to the directory
- Manage endpoint security and remediate any identified risks
- Manage the office network including configuration and monitoring of the network security appliance and WIFI network
- Procurement and management of IT inventory
- Assist in the efficient onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Conduct training session in relation to cyber security (e.g. Phishing)
- Troubleshoot IT issues and outages
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a System Administrator or similar role in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing endpoint security (e.g. CrowdStrike) is highly desirable
- Experience managing a corporate network including security (e.g. NGFW)
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Tertiary education in a relevant field.
