We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Learning amp; Development Manager to join our North Sydney based People amp; Performance team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Reporting to our well-respected Head of Talent amp; Organisational Development, you will play an instrumental part in the development of programs that build knowledge, increase engagement, and create a learning culture of achievement.
This is a broad role - and as a dynamic, innovative business we’ll need you to deliver great outcomes and have a real impact by:
- Partnering with the People amp; Performance team and broader business to design, deliver, and evaluate functional training and development programs for our organisation
- Developing and facilitating our immersive onboarding program ‘Great Beginnings’
- Design and delivery of transformational internal leadership development solutions that deliver tangible outcomes and grow our leadership pipeline
- Developing meaningful metrics that evaluate the success and impact of our learning and development programs to create sustainable change
- Leveraging our LMS iLearn - to complement our blended learning strategy
- Design, roll-out and management of the annual GWA ‘Learning Festival’
- Partnering with third party training providers to co-create best practice solutions
- Supporting the design and deployment of organisation-wide development programs, as well as creating and managing content for our well received ‘Good2Know’ virtual learning sessions.
- Developing a training calendar of company-wide functional skills offerings
- Redesigning compliance requirements to maximise interest and engagement with content in creative ways
- Leading the way in the use of digital adoption platforms whilst leveraging technology to deliver engaging and wide reaching solutions
You’ll also need to be happy being fully immersed in the GWA learning and development lifecycle from getting into the detail, right through to operating at a high-level where you are working with senior stakeholders.
About you
You’ll ideally have 7+ years in the design, delivery and evaluation of leadership, onboarding and soft skills programs, and a passion for developing organisational capabilities through hands on program design and delivery.
We'd also like you to have:
- Experience managing an LMS, ideally SAP Litmos
- Experience in design and development of content and learning materials utilising adult education methodologies and instructional design approaches
- Accreditation in the use of best practice assessment and development tools
- Ability to create learning solutions for a variety of audiences through blended delivery methods
- Ability to translate business needs into learning solutions that are practical and commercial
- Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders across multiple teams, functions and geographies
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline
- Advanced Canva skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering leadership programs
- Experience working within a HR team, ideally having spent some time in a generalist HR position
