We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leisure amp; Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Derwent Views Facility (formerly Freemasons Home) in Hobart, Tasmania. This position is on a part-time basis.
Requirements
As Leisure amp; Lifestyle Assistant, you'll work in conjunction with the Lamp;L team to deliver a diverse and high quality range of recreational lifestyle activities to all Respect residents that reflect their individual interests, preferences and capabilities.
We're looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is highly organised, and has a knack for problem-solving.
What you can bring to the role:
- A genuine interest for working in aged care.
- Well developed customer service skills.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to lead and organise the social care team and volunteers.
- An ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Certificate IV in leisure and lifestyle or similar discipline.
To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate is required to provide a current National Police Certificate without conviction that would preclude employment in aged care.
