Your main tasks will be to drive Jaybro sales and include all range of products by building relationships with key stakeholders and drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality amp; compliance system to monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Define quality metrics, establish quality control processes, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Continuously improve quality amp; compliance system by analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish a robust new product development process with proper traceability and visibility.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to product development, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors during inspections, audits, and certification processes.
- Develop and oversee product testing protocols and procedures to ensure product safety, efficacy, and quality.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Category Managers) and external testing laboratories to conduct product performance testing, stability studies, and other required analyses.
- Analyse test results, identify areas for improvement, and drive implementation of necessary changes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with purchasing and sourcing to ensure the quality and reliability of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Evaluate and support qualification of new suppliers through audits and assessments to ensure they meet quality and compliance requirements.
- Support supplier performance, through periodic supplier audits, and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation related to quality management systems, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and regulatory submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
- Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in product quality management, compliance, or a similar role within a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
- Familiarity with product development processes and the ability to translate quality requirements into design and manufacturing specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively to drive quality improvements.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) are desirable.
