Job Description

We are seeking a driven and results oriented individual to oversee all aspects of product quality and compliance, including product testing, inspection, documentation, and certification.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical/engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and category sales teams to ensure our products meet or exceed industry standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Your main tasks will be to drive Jaybro sales and include all range of products by building relationships with key stakeholders and drive the business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality amp; compliance system to monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Define quality metrics, establish quality control processes, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Continuously improve quality amp; compliance system by analysing data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish a robust new product development process with proper traceability and visibility.
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to product development, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors during inspections, audits, and certification processes.
  • Develop and oversee product testing protocols and procedures to ensure product safety, efficacy, and quality.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Category Managers) and external testing laboratories to conduct product performance testing, stability studies, and other required analyses.
  • Analyse test results, identify areas for improvement, and drive implementation of necessary changes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with purchasing and sourcing to ensure the quality and reliability of raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Evaluate and support qualification of new suppliers through audits and assessments to ensure they meet quality and compliance requirements.
  • Support supplier performance, through periodic supplier audits, and drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to quality management systems, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and regulatory submissions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in product quality management, compliance, or a similar role within a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
  • Familiarity with product development processes and the ability to translate quality requirements into design and manufacturing specifications.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively to drive quality improvements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) are desirable.
