About the Role:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementation, and monitoring a consistent workplace-based competency development, training, and assessment framework to ensure required operational capability across our ANZ sites. This will be accomplished by providing best practice methodologies, templates, and tools to enable consistent workplace-based training materials/SOPs for core manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Coordinating the development of best practice standard operating procedures (SOPs) in partnership with local subject matter experts.
- Developing a competency-based framework and assessment methodology to build and maintain required operational capability across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Supporting and complying with all safety, health, and environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
- Working closely with the operations leadership team to ensure the implementation of the Lamp;D program.
- Monitoring and measuring learning outcomes.
- Identifying and deploying new training technologies. Establishing a register/system for SOPs that are compliant with ISO standards and are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Establishing partnerships with external providers to support capability lift in operations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in delivering significant development amp; training programs in operational/ blue collar environments.
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives and innovation in Lamp;D/OD practices across complex and geographically dispersed organizations.
- Demonstrated understanding of challenges involved in an operational/heavy industry environment with focus on safety and compliance learning requirements.
- Ability to communicate complexity to diverse stakeholder levels and actively listen to build a detailed understanding.
- Well organized in working independently to manage multiple tasks and to thrive in an evolving environment.
- Experience with LMS systems ideal, ideally Workday
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Education or Engineering/Business related degree or Cert IV in Workplace Training amp; Assessment.
