About the Opportunity

A newly created position that is perfectly suited to a sales professional that is eager to expand their skill sets across both retail and trade departments. Reporting to the QLD Trade Manager, this blended position focuses on providing exceptional customer and sales service that drives growth, strengthens Armadillo’s brand reputation, engages new and existing customers and celebrates our purpose-driven company and products.


Retail Key Responsibilities:

  • Fielding all Queensland retail enquiries, by phone, email and in person
  • Delivering the ultimate Armadillo customer experience to all retail clients, by phone, email and in person. This includes after sales service and follow-up actions.
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Representing the Armadillo brand appropriately at all times
  • Providing considered design and decorating advice to all Queensland retail clients
  • Maintaining the Queensland retail enquiry log amp; the showroom retail sampling process
  • Providing quotes and following up all enquiries
  • Ensuring the showroom is presented to company standards at all times
  • Providing support to and collaborating with national sales team where required

Trade Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing QLD/NT Trade customers where required, via phone, email and in-person
  • Respond to trade inquiries in a prompt manner and trouble shooting concerns over deliveries or claims in partnership with customer service and operations departments
  • Generate quotes and convert orders. Ensure effective quote follow-up is prioritised
  • Assist and support the State Manager in/with
    • The execution of Trade Outreach amp; Engagement tactics
    • Hosting in-showroom presentations
    • Trade Database Management
    • Managing sample inventory, orders and loans

About You

  • Prior experience in the Architecture and/or Design industry is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related professional experience within sales or customer service
  • You have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and will have exceptional customer service skills to drive our growth
  • Your always enthusiastic amp; forward thinking - keen to roll up your sleeves and jump straight in
  • You Frequently use your initiative to think about new ways to approach task. You are a natural problem solver and hold yourself accountable to your responsibilities.
  • Team player you know how to achieve a better result by working as a team collaboratively
