The Purpose:

As a member of our Finance Financial Planning amp; Analysis team, you will provide support to the team of finance business partners in developing and reporting and forecasting on AP+ performance and targeted strategic insights for key operational lines of business across AP+. Insights will be based on analysis of business and operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends and the competitor landscape.

In addition, your day to day role will see you:

  • Preparing and reporting budgeting, forecasting and financial business reviews
  • Provide financial support on commercial agreements, business case development and decision support for operational lines of business
  • Embedding yourself within the business playing a key part in translating business matters and decisions into financial impacts and metrics
  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with operational lines of business including senior stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the broader finance team to ensure alignment of reporting and bridging lines of business with financial operations, financial control, policies, technical accounting, tax, and treasury

In order to thrive in this role, you’ll be expected to have the following experience:

  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting)
  • CPA/ CA qualified
  • Post Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian financial markets
  • Payments industry knowledge an advantage
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks as they relate to finance matters
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar finance role delivering analysis, insights and financial support across diverse business environments and teams
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems
