The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for completing part of the design, development, integration, testing and commissioning activities of the PLC-based Plant Management and Control System (PMCS) for the tunnel, comprising mechanical, electrical and electronic components across the following PMCS subsystems: building services, MVAC, Ventilation (Algorithms), Ventilation (Devices), Fire, Lighting, Electrical and Hydraulics.
Main responsibilities include:
- Technical requirements review and analysis.
- Design, development, testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and electronic control systems for the management of the tunnel.
- Writing and testing the code for the PLCs’ software.
- Liaising with clients and third-party vendors on aspects of the design and construction, providing feedback or request for information to the designer.
- Review vendor’s specifications, technical information, datasheets, etc.
- Supporting team leaders in estimating effort and duration of tasks.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar engineering discipline.
• Over 2 years of experience in development, design, integration, testing and commissioning of PLC-based automation and control systems.
• Previous experience in ITS/Tunnel projects.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA or DCS technologies Rockwell (Allen Bradley) preferrable.
• PLC Programming skills (e.g. Ladder, STL, Function Blocks)
• Office Tools: Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
