About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Broome. Reporting to the Operations Manager Guest Experience, this role is instrumental in providing operational support to our land-based and pontoon-based teams to enable us to continue to provide the incredible experiences that we bring to life.

Operational tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with the management of guest arrivals/departures from our Hangar (tour departure point) in Broome
  • Maintaining the overall presentation and cleanliness of the Hangar
  • Creation of manifests for Bus Drivers along with Bus Driver rosters
  • Supporting with crew flights, allocation/maintenance of crew accommodation amp; crew uniforms
  • Creating purchase orders, checking amp; coding invoices appropriately amp; the receival of stores
  • Data entry for EOM reporting, monthly stocktakes amp; fortnightly payroll process as required
  • Active participation in projects or initiatives designed to further enhance the operation/guest experience
  • Other duties as required to assist the operation and/or the Operations Manager Guest Experience

About You

You will be a go-getter, hands-on and eager to jump in as required to ensure limited impact to the overall operation. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar fast-paced role within the tourism/hospitality industry. Strong computer skills with a high attention to detail, the ability to use your initiative and pivot when required, while displaying exceptional communication skills will be key to succeed in this role.

This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis, working on a rotational roster including weekends and public holidays. As our business operates on ‘swings’ which are based on the tides, some flexibility with hours will be required where you may be called upon at short notice to assist.
