How you'll make an impact

Joining Sidekicker as a Graduate Accountant offers you a unique opportunity to collaborate with our existing team and gain expertise in various facets of finance. You will have a hands-on role in business-critical tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end procedures.

With Sidekicker's ongoing growth and expansion, the successful candidate will have abundant opportunities for professional development and a clear trajectory to advance their finance career.

What you'll do

  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Perform credit checks of new customers
  • Invoice clients, including making invoice adjustments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer transactions and customer information
  • Building relationships with accounts payable contacts at key customers
  • Proactive cash collection
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies and either resolve the issue or escalate internally
  • Update dashboards and tracking files
  • Support month-end procedures
  • Respond to ad hoc information requests from the Head of Finance and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Other tasks as required to support accounts payable, payroll and reporting
  • Support the implementation of automation and process improvement in the finance function

Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting
