Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures is proud to be the region’s most awarded, experienced, and longest running tour operator as we offer the widest range of day trips and luxury overnight adventure tours to the spectacular Horizontal Falls and the scenic surrounds.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate sales and guest service professional to join our Reservations team based in Broome. This role is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to Horizontal Falls guests, clients, suppliers and trade partners, primarily through phone and email. Key aspects of this role include maintaining consistent sales conversion rates, targets and service standards in line with the Journey Beyond Group objectives. The Senior Reservations Consultant will also take the lead on driving group booking allotments, in addition to liaising with Journey Beyond Travel Trade and Sales teams for contracting of larger group bookings.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis, working on a rotational roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays. As our season runs from March to November each year, there is potential for you to expand your knowledge and be cross trained in one of our other brands within Journey Beyond in the off-season.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced as a tour/travel consultant and/or working in a busy call centre environment (highly desirable)
  • Passionate about the tourism industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service
  • Have a natural ability to convert bookings through excellence in provision of information and knowledge, an eye for detail, you see everything through a guest centric lens
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive and solutions focused
  • Able to work under pressure with competing priorities and tasks and also resilient if liaising with disgruntled guests
  • A real team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
