The Role

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary General Manager to lead our Talent product portfolio, which includes building an innovative global recruitment model. You will leverage our award winning platforms to help candidates develop their careers and to deliver the best talent directly to a hiring manager.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on product, commercial and end-to-end business leadership. The General Manager will be responsible for driving our talent and consumer-facing proposition, ensuring exceptional performance, and delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients and users. This role requires a strategic mindset, outstanding business acumen, and a proven track record of driving growth. You will also have proven success in the talent industry, with good working knowledge and exposure to job boards amp; applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the Talent portfolio, including our job board and applicant tracking system.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Design a two-sided talent proposition that attracts the best talent, and also drives business performance for our SME network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set goals, establish metrics, and drive performance optimisation

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day product operations of the job board and applicant tracking system, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, user feedback, and industry best practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

User Acquisition and Engagement:

  • Develop and execute user acquisition strategies to drive growth and increase the number of job postings and applicants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, recruiters, and job seekers to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Continuously analyse user behaviour and preferences to improve user engagement and retention.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Lead the product development team to define product requirements, prioritise features, and ensure timely delivery of enhancements and update
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and user needs to drive product innovation and maintain a competitive edge
  • Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and conduct user testing to inform product development decisions

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, professional growth, and work-life balance.

Commercial Leadership

  • Build ambitious plans aligned to our company strategy and deliver strong commercial performance in all key regions.
  • Balance growth, revenue and costs in line with budget.
  • Drive revenue growth by formulating and implementing effective commercial strategies, pricing models, and monetisation plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth
